The fruit of the Acai (pronounced aa-sigh-ee) Palm (Euterpe Oleracea) is considered to be nature's perfect food, and there is no doubt that Acai Berries contain a wealth of goodness, including Vitamins, Minerals, Antioxidants, EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids), Flavonoids, Protein, Fibre, and possibly some compounds that help with weight loss. Acai Extract has 33 times the ORAC (a measure of the antioxidant properties) value of red grapes. It also contains Vitamins B1, B2, B3, C and E, plus Iron, Phosphorus, Calcium and Potassium, as well as the EFAs Omega 9 and Omega 6.
